Barrister Seyi Akinwumi is the first vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF). He let it known to the public that lesbianism is one of the major problems affecting the growth of women's soccer in Nigeria. He said this on the 11th of June, 2016 when he was featured on a sport personality programme "Hot Seat" organized by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria(SWAN), Oyo Chapter, in Ibadan.
