The suspect is presumed to have stabbed the children at the terrace of their apartment before going in to attack their mother. The attack from the man has put the woman's eight year old in a critical condition. The little girl is currently fighting for her life after suffering from a punctured lung at around 10 am on Tuesday. The mother of the child was stabbed in the chest and is in critical condition. Her other children aged 12 and 14 are also receiving treatment in the hospital. The attack happened at the Garde-Colombe in the Hautes-Alpes region. The suspect who was also a guest at the resort was believed by some media reports to have been upset at the family because of their dressing but the regional prosecutor, Raphael Balland told the AFP news agency that the motive was unclear and that "no religious statement had been made". A tour bus burst to flames and killed all the 26 people on board in it after crashing into a railing close to Taoyuan Airport. Eye witnesses, according to Taiwan's official Central News Agency (CNA) say that the bus was reportedly swerving from lane to lane before the accident. The bus comprised of Chinese tourist and they all died after the fire outbreak. The driver and tour guide were both from Taiwan but the remaining 24 were Chinese. They had completed their tour and were on their way to the airport before the car crashed into a railing resulting in a fire outbreak. According to one of the fire fighters sent to the scene, he said that the fire moved very fast and there was not enough time for the victims to escape. Both of the carriage doors were pressed against the railing, making it impossible to open the doors. Dead bodies were found against the unopened door, indicating the victims did try to escape. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
