Christina Victoria Grimmie was an American singer and songwriter, known for her participation in the NBC singing competition The Voice and for her covers of hit songs by contemporary pop musicians. In June 2011, she released her debut EP, Find Me. Just yesterday she was shot and killed by a deranged fan during a meet and greet with her fans after her concert. The killer was reported to have walked up to her and pointed a gun at close range and shot her, taking her life. Her brother tackled the killer immediately after he killed her, but he was able to free himself; long enough to point the gun to his own head and take his life. Investigators have still been unable to decipher what motivated the killer to carry out such an evil act.
