Coach crash and Fire outbreak kills 26 in Taiwan

A tour bus burst to flames and killed all the 26 people on board in it after crashing into a railing close to Taoyuan Airport. Eye witnesses, according to Taiwan's official Central News Agency (CNA) say that the bus was reportedly swerving from lane to lane before the accident. The bus comprised of Chinese tourist and they all died after the fire outbreak. The driver and tour guide were both from Taiwan but the remaining 24 were Chinese. They had completed their tour and were on their way to the airport before the car crashed into a railing resulting in a fire outbreak. According to one of the fire fighters sent to the scene, he said that the fire moved very fast and there was not enough time for the victims to escape. Both of the carriage doors were pressed against the railing, making it impossible to open the doors. Dead bodies were found against the unopened door, indicating the victims did try to escape. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
